Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson Monday took part in anti-Semitism of the most cretinous variety in promoting bigoted quotes on his social media pages. He will get away with it.

Jackson will emerge relatively untainted because there is a double standard when it comes to political and cultural gaffes in America today. If a Democrat, as in Joe Biden, or a member of a protected class (think sports figures and entertainers) says an outrageously bigoted and ignorant thing, or even commits an alleged crime, there is a momentary kerfuffle after which all is forgotten and forgiven. Remember the blackface and rape cases of the Democrat governor and lieutenant governor of Virginia? Case in point.

But if a conservative or Republican slips the slightest bit away from left-wing orthodoxy, he or she is horsewhipped with the nearest horse.

For the Left, this is especially true when it comes to anti-Semitism. Even though Jews led the fight for civil rights and can be found in the leadership of liberal groups across the nation, lunatics, as the Left has moved on from anti-Zionism to blatant anti-Semitism, will still take part in vicious Jew-baiting and pay no great price for it. As such, welcome to the new NFL.

Jackson specifically displayed three paragraphs of quotes by Hitler. He also posted pictures of the highlighted passages to Instagram. These are the lines: “Hitler said, ‘because the white Jews knows [sic] that the Negros are the real Children of Israel and to keep Americas secret the Jews will black mail America… ‘The will extort America, their pan to world domination won’t work if the Negroes know who they were… ‘The white citizens of America will be terrified to know that all this time they’ve been mistreating and discriminating and lynching Children of Israel.’”

Yup. The man is a moron, a fool, and a rabid hater of Jews. The response, as short-lived as it will be, was quick.

Jackson then posted two pictures of anti-Semitic tinhorn Louis Farrakhan on Instagram. In one caption, Jackson wrote: “This man powerful I hope everyone got a chance to watch this !! Don’t be blinded. Know what’s going on.” Ah, the false enlightenment of the truly deranged.

Jackson also posted a quote attributed to Farrakhan, which read: “There must be 100% change… There’s a burden the Earth is carrying that it must be relieved from. The Earth is burdened by the wicked living on a planet that was made for the righteous.” Before some of you say, “welllll…” his idea of wicked is likely not yours.

Even noted ultra-liberal academic Marc Lamont Hill thought Jackson let the left-wing anti-Semitic cat out of the bag a tad too freely.

Jackson pathetically tried to clear himself by saying, “Anyone who feels I have hate towards the Jewish community took my post the wrong way I have no hatred in my heart towards no one!! Equality Equality.” Grammar, Mr. Jackson, grammar.

Apparently Mr. Jackson also thinks people can’t read and thus did not comprehend his raging hate. Oh, and the “Equality” bit at the end? Classic. Scream a tired old buzzword when in deep manure and hope it saves you. Actually, and so it will. Jackson will play the next season for a team owned by a Jewish man. Strange bedfellows? It’s today’s bigot-friendly NFL.
