A man has just been accused of fatally shooting a Burger King worker in Orlando, Florida after his friend’s order took too long to complete.

The New York Post reported that Kelvis Rodriguez-Tormes, 37, has been arrested for allegedly shooting Desmond Joshua, 22, in the parking lot of the restaurant at around 7:30PM on Saturday night.

“You got two seconds before I shoot you,” Rodriguez-Tormes told Joshua, according to witnesses, before he pulled the trigger. Joshua had only recently been hired at the restaurant.

Earlier in the evening, Rodriguez-Tormes had stormed to the Burger King after being asked to do so by a woman who made a scene over a long wait time at the drive-thru. This woman, whose name has not been identified, was refunded $40 and told to leave after she got out of her car and screamed she was going to get “her man” to come to the Burger King.

The woman then drove away, only to return with Rodriguez-Tormes, who immediately targeted Joshua. After demanding that Joshua fight him, Rodriguez-Tormes placed him in a headlock before a witness could separate them. Minutes later, Rodriguez-Tormes grabbed a gun from his truck and shot Joshua, who was pronounced dead at a local hospital after the shooting.

The police report states that Rodriguez-Tormes dismantled the gun that he used in the shooting and placed it “in a location which cannot be located.”

Rodriguez-Tormes has since been charged with murder, destruction of evidence and weapons possession. The woman who was with Rodriguez-Tormes at the time of the shooting has not been arrested at this time.

Law And Crime reported that Rodriguez-Tormes’ criminal record dates back to 2005, when he was convicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Joshua had only recently been hired, and had just started working at the Burger King a few days ago.
