As several Democrat-run cities descend further into chaos following the death of George Floyd and the nation sees the resurgence of Black Lives Matter – it is an election year after all – the populous has engaged in a contentious  national debate about supposed systemic racism, racial inequality and police brutality.  All things that are routinely proven to be false, though no one is suggesting that areas can’t be improved.

Still, the conversation rages on, and to a casual observer would appear to be tilted in the favor those claiming America is an awful place full of racists.  The reason for this: The Democrat party’s publicist, the mainstream media, continues to push messages of division and hatred.

However, their narrative took a hit this week when a Just The News with Scott Rasmussen Poll demonstrated that 79% of Americans polled believe the country was founded on ideals of freedom and equality, even if we haven’t always executed it perfectly.

Just 11% of the participants felt as though the nation was founded as a racist society, with the founding principles being a lie.

Again, the poll does not suggest that America is perfect. It just reflects that fact that most Americans do not see our country, or ourselves, as the awful place that Black Lives Matter has publicly said needs to be destroyed and started over.
