Despite the shove of abolishing the police and the pushback of legions backing the blue, our nation must not be habituated by clogs of protesters acting like Bob’s Barricades all over the place.

As myriad seemingly endless protests in cities across the United States continue to roll into August 2020, police resources have been constrained yet performing as intended: Resolving matters as best possible, not so easy among a polarized populace which increasingly resorts to violence.

Austin, Texas and many surrounding local jurisdictions have been bearing witness to such clashes and the inherent fallouts. Besides the hostilities transpiring under cover of darkness, daylight activities are not much different.
