Indeed, a picture paints a thousand words. We can all relate to the mantra and relish in pictures what we can not garner or confirm otherwise, such as “anonymous sources” ala The Atlantic painting President Donald Trump with a broadly slanderous brush.

Despite the published story written by The Atlantic‘s Jeffrey Goldberg claiming unidentified sources told him President Donald Trump, a man who has accomplished much on behalf of our nation’s military service members –fallen and active– rattled readers and perpetuated pushback from the Trump administration.

It seems most evident, highly suspect, and definitely ironic that supposed “anonymous sources” purporting President Trump disparaged military warriors cite idiosyncrasies while enjoying the comforts of being cloaked. Uncanny how those unidentified individuals assert that President Trump claimed a military burial site was “filled with losers” yet prefer to remain veiled after aiming index fingers at another person. Losers?

As First Lady Melania Trump sincerely noted, “[The Atlantic] story is not true. It has become a very dangerous time when anonymous sources are believed above all else, & no one knows their motivation. This is not journalism – It is activism. And it is a disservice to the people of our great nation.”

No need to dissect the tenets of journalism and the occasional import of anonymity among dialogue and assertions offered to the viewing public, prime example of which is when there may be a fear of physical retaliation. If that is the insinuation here, someone may have binged the entire “House of Cards” series on Netflix.

I’ll take photo evidence any day.  The pictorial with which we allude to serves perfectly and does justice to the matter at hand, directly from one of the individuals who was physically present with President Trump for a number of years now: Daniel Scavino Jr.

Even in an election cycle, there is no excuse for propagating a story which has zero identifiers, especially when proof to the contrary exists. Then again, that’s politics for ya. With that, to resolve this nonsensical rumor-mongering and treat the eyes to truth via living-color depictions of the president and his myriad interactions with beloved U.S. military heroes, you can access an evidentiary array here. (The comments are very telling, and expose how Americans feel about their president’s admiration and respect for past and present military service heroes.)
