Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg love nothing more than relentlessly attacking Donald Trump every day on their ABC talk show “The View.” This week, however, they took their hatred for the president to a despicable new low when they floated the idea that he may have been lying about contracting the deadly coronavirus.

While the panel discussed the concept of herd immunity, Goldberg questioned whether Trump really did test positive for COVID-19 earlier this month.

“You know what? The more he talks, the less I think he had it, personally,” Goldberg said. “That’s just me, that’s just me.”

Behar, who arguably dislikes Trump more than anyone else in the media, gleefully hopped on this bandwagon immediately.

“Me too!” Behar exclaimed. “I’m starting to think that too, Whoopi.”

“I’m starting to feel like, really? Because I just feel like, wait a minute,” Goldberg added, before talking about how quickly Trump recovered from coronavirus.

“Five days? Five days? You’re the only person on the face of the earth, on the face of the earth, and if you are comparing yourself to Jesus, you know, you’re saying five days, that’s all it took, people have not been able to—still haven’t been able to get out of the bed,” she said. “So I just —I don’t know. I couldn’t get the information. I just feel weird about it.”

“I’m kind of agreeing with you,” Behar concurred. “He’s a liar. His supporters will believe anything he says, anything.”

In a surprising twist, the ultra liberal cohost Sunny Hostin acted as the voice of reason in this situation, pointing out that the high quality medical care that the president received at Walter Reed Medical Center might explain his swift recovery. She added that the people who have stayed sick with the virus longer “don’t have access to the same drugs” that Trump does.

However, this logic was not enough to silence the hate of Behar and Goldberg.

“It’s not about the drugs,” Behar barked. “He’s a liar. How could you believe anything he says? Anything!”

“Because it’s hard to trust him, it’s hard to, like, go with it,” Goldberg said. “And I hate feeling like that.”

This just goes to show once again that Trump derangement syndrome is real, folks.
