While it’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind that is Joe Biden, let’s not forget his Vice President nominee Kamala Harris. Since running for the Democratic nominee, Harris has been on a warpath, calling out everybody that opposes her. It’s no surprise that President Trump would be number one on that list, but recently Harris has made some claims about the President being racist…

During a 60 Minutes interview, Harris goes on a rant about the President, claiming he is a racist due to Birtherism comments, handling of Charlottesville, “Mexican” remarks, and his ban on Muslims. While shocking, you can watch the video below.

Not wanting to spoil her moment in the lights, Harris claims the President is racist by saying, “You can look at a pattern that goes back to him questioning the identity of the first Black president of the United States. You can look at Charlottesville when there were peaceful protesters, And on the other side, Neo-Nazis and he talks about fine people on either side. Calling Mexicans rapists and criminals. His first order of business was to institute a Muslim ban. It all speaks for itself.”

FACT CHECK

Birtherism – the comments made about the President questioning the eligibility of Obama’s presidency is not a sign of racism. It is a sign of being a concerned citizen. If you look in the past, President Trump did the same thing to Ted Cruz when he found out he was born in Canada. Unlike Obama, Cruz presented a U.S. Birth Certificate and nothing else was said.

Nazis – Never once did the President claim or say that the Neo-Nazis in Charlottesville were “Fine People”.  He actually condemned their acts of hatred. Harris used this same attack a couple of weeks ago with Mike Pence. Even Pence told her the truth then and she failed to listen and understand.

Mexicans – Again, Trump never referred to Mexican people as rapists or criminals. Not once did he even remotely believe that statement, yet people think he said it – like Harris. Trump was calling the people, from all over the world, who enter this country illegally mostly rapists and criminals, which statistics show they are.

Muslim Ban – Harris accused the President of imposing a travel ban on Muslims, knowing full well that Trump placed a ban on foreign travel due to terror-prone countries. It wasn’t even President Trump who made the list, most of the countries came from the Obama Administration, and guess what – non-Muslim countries were on that list.

VERDICT

Harris, like most of the Democrats, knows the truth but continues to spread fake news and false facts to push their agenda and distorted narrative.
