Tapping its first show in 1997, the View has become a hotbed for liberal media and conspiracy theories aimed at the conservative right. Surprisingly, the show is still on even though it has a dismal score of only 2.9 out of 10. To make matters worse, there are actual Americans out there who listen to what these hosts have to say. Most recently, hosts Sunny Hostin and Whoopi Goldberg decided to attack the right for something the Democrats planned on doing – court-packing.

Hosts Sunny Hostin believes she knows what’s best for the country as she blames the Republicans for packing the court. And to make it worse, she claims they have been doing in for years. So Hostin gets on the topic of court-packing. She clearly seems to have a complete understanding as she said, “We all know that the Republican Party has been packing the Supreme Court for decades. They’ve been packing the judiciary for decades. Trump has put now, three Justices on the Supreme Court and dozens and dozens of judges on the federal judiciary, so I think what we’re going to see is, perhaps, Democrats unpacking the Supreme Court so that there is more of a balance.”

Wait…what? That’s right. The host of the View, a primetime morning show, believes that packing the court is when a president appoints a new justice when a seat is available. For Sunny and those that don’t know, packing the court is… Well, let former New York Times editor, Bari Weiss explain it.

According to the columnists, “Packing the court is about adding more justices to the bench, which is something like AOC and Ilhan Omar are advocating for. Packing the court doesn’t mean appointing justices that some people don’t like. I think that’s really where the debate is.”

And with those few simple sentences, Weiss showed just how far and low the View has come. Even Whoopi Goldberg tried to take up for her cohost saying, “I don’t think she was talking about the Supreme Court.” What’s even more surprising is the fact that Hostin was talking about the Supreme Court, she literally says it in her opening sentence.

Still, the View isn’t always about the facts as they mainly go off of what they are feeling at that moment. So, it was no surprise to Weiss or the audience that none of the hosts would understand the mistake.
