While the Republicans and their followers are often labeled as radicals, it’s interesting to note that recently the left has introduced steps to expel Freedom of Speech and introduce “re-education camps” for Trump supporters.
Since winning the election, the Democrats have been on a warpath when it comes to President Trump and his devoted fanbase. Most recently, a PBS employee was recorded talking about certain steps that should be taken to re-program children.
Luckily, the employee has already been fired from his position at PBS, but it should be noted that he isn’t the first to mention the idea of re-education camps for Trump Supporters. The idea has been supported before by the radical left since Trump first took office.
The former employee was PBS principal counsel Michael Beller. Unknown to him, Beller was being recorded by a Project Veritas journalist before the 2020 presidential election. He was recorded saying, “Kids who are growing up know nothing but Trump, for four years. You’ve got to wonder what they’re going to be like. They’ll be raising a generation of intolerant, horrible people – horrible kids. Even if Biden wins, we go for all the Republican voters, and Homeland Security will take their children away. And we’ll put them into re-education camps.”

“Go to the White House & throw Molotov cocktails…”

While frightening to imagine your children being ripped from your arms, Beller went on to brag in the video about how well the kids will be taken care of. He said, “The re-education camps — they’re nice, they have Sesame Street in the classrooms, and they watch PBS all day.”
The interview didn’t stop there as the employee was asked what the left should do if Trump was to win re-election. Again, Beller doubled-downed on his message of hate by saying, “Go to the White House and throw Molotov cocktails …”
Towards the end of his rant, Beller discussed COVID-19 and the impact it was having on the country. Surprisingly, Beller laughed about the virus and was happy to see Republican states having COVID-19 spikes. Beller said, “What’s great is that COVID is spiking in all the red states right now. So, that’s great. Because, either those people won’t come out to vote for Trump — you know, the red states — or a lot of them are sick and dying.”
As mentioned above, the video soon went viral and PBS was quick to release the employee and make a statement on the matter. The station said, “There is no place for hateful rhetoric at PBS, and this individual’s views in no way reflect our values or opinions. We strongly condemn violence and will continue to do what we have done for 50 years – use our national platform and local presence to strengthen communities and bring people together.”
