It says a lot about a sitting President on how they treat the people around them. While the media pushed a narrative that Trump was a greedy billionaire, he always praised our military and everything they sacrificed for this country. Now that he is gone, it is up to Joe Biden to treat the military with respect and honor. So, what does he do on his first day as POTUS, how about kicks the military out of Washington? And yes, it is the same military that was sent there to protect him.

Numerous outlets confirmed on Thursday that thousands of National Guard troops were kicked out of the Capitol and made to sleep in a small abandoned parking garage. That’s right, the President of the United States believes it is completely okay for the military to be deduced to sleeping in a parking garage like some sort of homeless person.

One guardsman, who wishes to remain anonymous, recalled the situation saying, “Yesterday dozens of senators and congressmen walked down our lines taking photos, shaking our hands and thanking us for our service. Within 24 hours, they had no further use for us and banished us to the corner of a parking garage. We feel incredibly betrayed.”

Shocking, even the New York Times picked up on the story and ran it. Due to the nature of being in the military and not wanting to talk bad against the leaders in office, all members decided to not have their names put in the article. But that didn’t stop the New York Times from saying the troops, “were without electrical power, heat and adequate restroom facilities. One Guard soldier estimated that there were 1,000 of them sharing a single portable restroom stationed outside of the parking garage.”

Completely unacceptable. It doesn’t matter which side of the aisle you sit on, this is our military. The same people who fight and defend the very country that we are able to speak freely about are now forced to use a single bathroom. This is what the Democrats are all about, using the military for photo ops – then throwing them away like yesterday’s garbage. But don’t worry – they got that photo.
