A few days ago, actress Gina Carano was shocked to find out that she had been fired for comments she made on Twitter. Being a victim of the cancel culture, Carano had few places to turn to for support as Disney, Lucasfilms, and most of Hollywood turned their backs on the promising star. And why? Because Carano tweeted a comparison between the hate conservatives are receiving to the Jews during the Holocaust. But unlike most, Carano isn’t running from her comments or the angry mob that wants her job. As Carano puts it, “Welcome to the rebellion.”

For years, Cancel Culture has threatened to rip apart the very fabric of American society. Luckily, the Republicans have kept it at bay, but since the Democrats took control – cancel culture has become unrestrained as it seeks to destroy anyone that doesn’t side with their ideology. Just take a look at what Lucasfilm said about the star. “Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future. Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.”

But luckily, fans of Carano won’t have to wait long before they can see their star back in action. Just a few days after being fired, Carano tweeted, “The Daily Wire is helping make one of my dreams — to develop and produce my own film — come true. I cried out and my prayer was answered. I am sending out a direct message of hope to everyone living in fear of cancellation by the totalitarian mob,” she continued. “I have only just begun using my voice which is now freer than ever before, and I hope it inspires others to do the same. They can’t cancel us if we don’t let them.”

Carano’s message didn’t stop there as she signed off with a warning to the culture who believed they could silence her spirit. She tweeted, “This is just the beginning… welcome to the rebellion.”

It should be noted the double standard that is Disney and Lucasfilm. For starters, Disney actually thanked the Chinese government for their role in the movie Mulan. This was despite the fact that the country was literally oppressing Muslim groups and placing them in re-education camps. As for Lucasfilm, they continue to stand by their lead actor, Pedro Pascal, who compared Trump’s immigration policy to the Holocaust. But then again, who said the rules were meant to be fair.
