With no more stories to spin and completely out of options, the Democrats are finally admitting that there might be a small problem at the border. While still refraining from calling it a crisis, admitting that there is a problem is the first step to redemption. No matter what they want to call it, there is no denying that tens of thousands of illegal immigrants are crossing the border without repercussion. So, what does the man himself, President Biden, plan on doing to fix the growing situation? Simple, pass it to somebody else.
Showcasing his amazing leadership skills, President Biden decided to pass the problem off to someone who is not only well known but has also been mistaken as the President too. That’s right, the person that is going to single-handedly fix the crisis at the Southern Border is none other than Vice President, Kamala Harris.
Sitting in the Oval Office with his always present VP by his side, Biden addressed the media saying, “I have asked her, the VP today, because she is the most qualified person to do it, to lead our efforts with Mexico and the Northern Triangle and the countries that are going to need help in stemming the movement of so many folks, stemming the migration to our southern border.I can think of nobody who is better qualified to do this than a former – this is a woman who ran the second-largest attorney general’s office in America, after the United States attorney general, in the state of California.”
After his short speech, Biden went back to his usual staring at the reporters while Harris decided to take over. She said, “I look forward to engaging in diplomacy with government, with private sector, with civil society and the leaders of each in El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras to strengthen democracy and the rule of law and ensure shared prosperity in the region. We will collaborate with Mexico and other countries in the western hemisphere.”
It’s also interesting to note Harris’s sudden change of heart when it comes to the border. Just two days ago, the VP was asked if she was going to visit the area. Not only did she not answer, she literally laughed out loud at the question. Take a look at the person Biden believes is the best qualified.
Apparently, the border crisis is now a laughing matter for the Biden administration.
