The Biden administration played hardball Thursday when it used the apparently still corrupt FBI to launch an intimidation raid against former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. The mayor also served as former president Trump’s lawyer during the election and during the post election controversies. This raid is payback for defending Trump.
This is Biden’s way of telling Trump, Giuliani, or anybody else who gets in the way, or has stood in his way in the past, that he will deploy the full resources of the federal government to harass, persecute, and prosecute any political enemy, all the while pronouncing pious pieties about the independence of the Department of Justice.
This could also be a shot across the bow to deter the former mayor’s son Andrew from running against wounded New York governor Andrew Cuomo in the next gubernatorial election. Regardless, the word is out: Biden and his dogs will come after you if you dare cross him. Sounds more like a mob boss than a president? Welcome to 2021 America.

FNC: “President Biden said he did not know about the FBI plans to raid the home of former President Trump’s personal attorney and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani before it happened, and that he learned of the operation ‘when the rest of the world learned about it.’
“The FBI raided Giuliani’s Manhattan apartment early Wednesday morning, seizing electronic devices as part its investigation into whether he violated the Foreign Agent Registration Act in his alleged dealings with Ukraine. NBC News asked Biden in a Thursday interview if he was aware of the FBI raid on Giuliani’s home beforehand.”
“I give you my word I was not,” Biden replied. “I made a pledge. I would not interfere in any way or try to stop any investigation the Justice Department had underway. I learned about that last night when the rest of the world learned about it. My word — I had no idea this was underway.” He’s lying through his toupee.
NBC then asked Biden whether he had been notified by the Justice Department of other probes. “No, and I’m not asking to be briefed,” Biden said. “I’m not asking to be briefed. That’s the Justice Department’s independent judgement. This last administration politicized the Justice Department so badly that so many quit, so many left because that’s not the role — not the role of a president to say who should be prosecuted, when they should be prosecuted, who should not be prosecuted. That’s not the role of the president…The Justice Department is the people’s lawyer, not the president’s lawyer,” he noted. What a load of absolute rubbish.
Giuliani’s son, Andrew Giuliani, called the FBI raid “absurd.” Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer said the raid was “totally unnecessary” and was launched to “make him look like he’s some sort of criminal.” Worse than that, it was a precursor of much worse things to come for the former New York mayor.
