Jen Psaki Admits Administration Tells Pres. Biden NOT To Talk To Press Or Take Questions

Ever wonder why President Biden remains in the White House and doesn’t talk much to the press? Coming off of the heels of one of the most vocal Presidents in history, Biden seems to be taking a widely different approach by avoiding the press at all cost and never forget his cheat sheet when giving a speech. But while many might want to blame Biden for his silence, it appears that the Democrats might be the ones pulling the strings and keeping the press away.

Somewhat of a celebrity now, White House press secretary Jen Psaki decided to flaunt her newfound stardom and make a guest appearance on a CNN podcast hosted by CNN Senior Commentator David Axelrod. The podcast, called “The Axe Files”, is chalked full of liberal opinions aimed at boasting the Democratic agenda. But even with the pair being friends, Psaki still slipped up and dropped a bombshell when it came to Biden and taking impromptu questions.

According to Psaki, the Biden Administration doesn’t like when Joe Biden takes questions that haven’t been reviewed beforehand. The subject of Biden’s silence came up when Axelrod recalled an incident when a reporter inadvertently caught up with Biden and asked him if $15 minimum wage would be included in the COVID-19 relief package. As we all know, it wasn’t, but at the time – the question and Biden’s response worried Democrats.

Speaking on the matter, Psaki casually laughed about the matter, saying she had gone home for the day. She also mentioned, “That is not something we recommend. In fact, a lot of times we say ‘don’t take questions. But he’s going to do what he wants to do because he’s the President of the United States.”

Psaki also reiterated that President Biden takes questions from the press every day, which again they tell him not to answer, but that doesn’t stop reporters from asking.

And who can forget about his first press conference? It took President Biden nearly 65 days to address the American people. That is the longest any President has waited since Calvin Coolidge in the 1920s. But again, is Biden’s silence due to his own wishes, or is it a strategic effort by the Democrats to hide a feeble President from the public eye?
