The Democrats have always pandered toward the black community, hoping to gain their vote during election time. They claim to want to help these communities by rebuilding and pumping money into the local economies while focusing on education, but time and time again the Democrats have proven they actually intend to do the opposite. Most recently, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi decided to show how “cultured” she is by honoring iconic baseball player Willie Mays. The only problem – it appears Pelosi has no idea who Mays is…

Wanting to celebrate his 90th birthday and hopefully gain some more black votes along the way, Pelosi opted to send out a tweet wishing Mays a Happy Birthday. The tweet read, “Happy 90th Birthday to an all-American icon, Willie Mays. A trailblazing, record-breaking baseball player, civil rights leader, and champion for youth sports and well-being, Willie Mays is a civic legend and national treasure. #SayHey90.”

The original message appears heartfelt and genuine until you take a close look at the picture and notice something is slightly different about Mays. Pelosi isn’t standing beside Giant’s legend Willie Mays, she is actually beside another baseball legend, Willie McCovey. To make it worse, neither Pelosi nor her team of liberals noticed the mishap until users pointed it out to them.

Former Press Secretary for President Trump, Sean Spicer, took to Twitter to not only help Pelosi out but nicely inform her that the picture was incorrect. “Madam Speaker, that’s not Willie Mays.”

Fox News contributor Deneen Borelli didn’t see the humor in Pelosi’s tweet as he called the House Speaker out, tweeting, “Cause all black people look the same.”

The original tweet was soon deleted and a new one was posted showing Pelosi standing beside the right baseball player. She didn’t mention the mishap in her tweet as she still hoped the photo of her standing beside Mays would show black communities she is on their side. Remember, this isn’t the first time Pelosi has pulled a racially insensitive stunt. It wasn’t that long ago that she wore African clothing to show her support for the people she continues to push down.
