Since the first case of COVID-19 was announced, the Democrats have used the pandemic to drive an agenda of complete control. From useless lockdowns to mask mandates, President Biden has let fear seep into the minds of Americans as he himself continues to push COVID-19 regulations that do little to actually help stop the spread. As for the states that have opened their borders, it appears they’re fairing better than states still practicing COVID-19 restrictions. 

While the President and the Democrats mocked states like Florida and Texas for lifting restrictions, allowing their borders to open once again, it appears Texas has reported “zero” deaths for the first time since the pandemic started. Excited about the announcement, Gov. Greg Abbott tweeted the news, saying,  “0 Covid related deaths–the only time that’s happened since data was tracked in March, 2020”: 

Today Texas reported:

* 0 Covid related deaths–the only time that's happened since data was tracked in March, 2020.

* the fewest Covid cases in over 13 months

* the lowest 7-day Covid positivity rate ever

* the lowest Covid hospitalizations in 11 months.

Back in March, governor Abbott made headlines when he joined other Republican states and lifted the statewide mask mandate. Following both the data and science, Abbott also allowed all businesses to open back up at 100% capacity. At the same time, President Biden condemned the move by calling it “Neanderthal Thinking”. He has yet to make a statement about the success Texas is having. 

Although Biden usually stays away from the press unless he has his cheat sheet, the President was quick to attack Abbott and the Republicans. He said, “The last thing, the last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking that in the meantime, everything’s fine, take off your mask, forget it.” 

That wasn’t all either as White House press secretary Jen Psaki also made a statement of her own pertaining to the states opening back up. She told reporters, “The entire country has paid the price for political leaders who ignored the science when it comes to the pandemic.”

But while the White House, Biden, and the Democrats all believe we should wear masks for the rest of our lives, the Republicans are not only showing but proving that the virus is contained. While some measurements should still be implemented, the days of hiding and taking government handouts are coming to an end as Americans want to work.
