The Democrats continue to spread rumors and articles about how bad of a President Trump was and how much he lied while in the White House. But time and time again, Trump has been proven right. He even warned Biden during the debates that a relaxed approach to the border would end disastrous, and look at what happened. Yet the Democrats are sticking by their President even as he tangles his own web of lies. 

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Amtrak thought it would be an honor to host the President of the United States, even if it was Biden. Visiting the 30th Street station located in Philadelphia, Biden appeared to be his usual self reading off of the teleprompter and staring blankly into the sun. Then, without warning, and to the amazement of his handlers, Biden goes off the cuff and tells a story about how much Amtrak means to him personally. The video can be seen below.

According to the White House transcript, Biden recounts a conversation he once had with a conductor named Angelo Negri.

The transcript reads, “One of them was a guy named Angelo Negri. And Angelo — there was an article — my — I guess, my fourth or fifth year as President — Vice President, saying, “Biden travels 1,000 — 1,300,000 miles on Air Force One [Two].”

And I used to — the Secret Service didn’t like it, but I used to like to take the train home. My mom was sick, and I’d come — try to come home almost every weekend as Vice President to see her. And I was getting on the train, and Angelo Negri came up and he goes, “Joey, baby!” And he grabbed my cheek, started to squeeze it like he always did.

And I thought that he was going to get shot. (Laughs.) I’m serious. And I said, “No, no. He’s a friend.” He said, “Joey, what’s the big deal? 1,200,000 — 300,000 miles on Air Force Two. You know how many miles you traveled on Amtrak?” I said, “No, Ang, I don’t know.”

And he gave me the calculation, and he said, “you traveled 1,515,000 miles on Amtrak.” So the fact is, I’d probably take Ang’s word before I took the word of what the article said.”

While the story is heartwarming and does tug at your emotions, it is entirely false. Here are the facts. Biden talks about using Amtrak to go visit his sick mother in 2013, but according to records, his mother died in 2010. But that isn’t all. Let’s take a look at the conductor, Angelo Negri. While he was a conductor for Amtrak, he retired in 1993 and passed away in 2014, so was Biden talking to a ghost?

As for the smoking gun is Biden’s whole story, the President couldn’t have traveled over 1,000,000 miles when he talked to Negri, because he broke that record in 2015 according to his official photographer David Lienemann.  

So while Biden continues to parade around the country and spread stories about how he is part of the middle class, that’s not only false but nothing more than a tactic to steal your vote and secure another 4 years in the White House.
