For months, school boards around the United States have debated the highly controversial “Critical Race Theory”. While just a theory dated back to 1989, liberals believe children should be taught that America was not only built on racism but that some people are born racist just due to the color of their skin. While CRT is absurd, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis banned the theory from being taught in any school knowing just how dangerous that mindset could become. And although some schools are still deliberating, a Black parent in Illinois recently went viral for pulling the mask off CRT and proving its true purpose.

A father of two sons, Ty Smith didn’t see himself becoming a viral sensation overnight when he spoke to his school board earlier this month. Only wanting to prove the dangers of CRT, Smith pleaded with the board that teaching our children these dangerous, false narratives would ultimately lead them to hate each other.

“You’re going to deliberately teach kids, ‘This white kid right here got it better than you because he white?’ You’re going to purposely tell a white kid, ‘Oh, the black people are all down and suppressed.’ How do I have two medical degrees if I’m sitting here oppressed?”

As you can see in the video above, Smith rips into CRT for stealing what he worked so hard to achieve. Smith said, “How did I get where I am right now if some white man kept me down? How am I now directing over folks that look just like you guys in this room right now? How? What kept me down? What oppressed me? I worked for myself from off the streets to where I am right now, and you’re going to sit here and tell me this lie of critical race theory? … The reason why black folks can’t get ahead because of white folks? Are you kidding me? This is what we’ve come to? I can’t believe we even talking about this right now.”

In the end, Smith admitted that allowing CRT to be taught in schools would completely undermine everything Martin Luther King stood for.  “So, when February comes, don’t talk about Martin Luther King … if y’all going to sit there and just pretty much just pee on his grave with this nonsense. That’s exactly what’s about to happen.”
