The Democrats are dividing between supporters of Israel and a growing number of elected Democrats who see Israel as an apartheid state. Intelligent sensible, on this issue, Democrats who support Israel are taking the offensive against The Squad and other antisemitic fans of international terrorism.

FNC: “Rep. Brad Sherman, D-Calif., tore into Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., on Wednesday for making ‘outrageous and clearly false statements’ about the United States and Israel. Sherman blasted his colleague for a recent tweet in which the congresswoman claimed that America and Israel had committed ‘unthinkable atrocities’ akin to the Taliban and Hamas. Sherman — a senior Democrat who has served since 1997 — torched Omar in a press release. ‘It’s not news that Ilhan Omar would make outrageous and clearly false statements about America and Israel,’ Sherman wrote. “What’s newsworthy is that she admits Hamas is guilty of ‘unthinkable atrocities…It’s time for all of Israel’s detractors to condemn Hamas. And it’s time for all those of good will to reject any moral equivalency between the U.S. and Israel on one hand, and Hamas and the Taliban on the other…Hamas has fired 4,500 rockets into Israel for the sole purpose of killing as many civilians as possible. Every one of these rockets was a war crime,’ Sherman told Secretary of State Antony Blinken.”

Sherman told Blinken that Israel’s missile defense system “saved countless Israeli civilian lives and also, countless Palestinian lives by helping bring this fight to a more speedy conclusion.” Sherman continued that “unfortunately, we won’t bring the criminals to international justice, but we can prevent those crimes in the future by replenishing [the] Iron Dome.”

What did Omar say? “We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the U.S., Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban,” the congresswoman wrote. “I asked [Secretary of State Antony Blinken] where people are supposed to go for justice.” Dear Gawd, what an evil harpy. And again. “We should all be grateful that a ceasefire will prevent more civilians and children from being killed,” Omar tweeted in May. “But now what? We need accountability for every war crime committed.” Yes we do. We’ll start with your pals Hamas.

In related news, the AP is still clutching their pearls over the righteous IAF hit on their terrorist supporting offices in Gaza. “As we have said, we have no indication of a Hamas presence in the building, nor were we warned of any such possible presence before the airstrike. This is something we check as best we can. We do not know what the Israeli evidence shows, and we want to know,” said Gary Pruitt of the Associated Press. He is lying. For right down the hall, there for all to see, were Hamas offices. Trained reporters did not notice this?

“That is why it was prioritized [as a target] by the IDF during last month’s operation,’” the Times of Israel reported.

The airstrike was “Entirely legitimate,” international human rights lawyer Arsen Ostrovsky said. “Hamas deliberately embeds itself among the press to shield its terrorism against Israel,” the American Israel Public Affairs Committee tweeted. “And the media is still complaining about the offices being destroyed,” added conservative pundit Kassy Dillon.
