Instead of harping on the past like the Democrats love to do, Senate Republicans decided it was time to move forward by filibustering a bill that would have opened an investigation into the events that led up to the Capitol Riots on January 6th. While the Democrats are more than fine with BLM and ANTIFA destroying businesses and neighborhoods, the protest that happened right outside their building is supposedly an attack on democracy and needs to be remedied. And although much about that day is still unknown, liberal icons like Hillary Clinton continue to push false narratives already proven to be fake news.

On Friday, ahead of the Memorial Day weekend, Hillary Clinton decided not to pay respects to the fallen heroes or their families. Instead, she found it no better time to promote a story that has since been debunked. The former presidential candidate tweeted, “An angry mob attacked our Capitol, our lawmakers, and our election. They killed a policeman. And Republican leaders would rather we all not know more about what happened.”

For those unaware, the Capitol Police Officer Clinton is referring to is Brian Sicknick, who did not die at the hands of an angry mob on January 6th. Sicknick actually died the next day on January 7th. And no, it wasn’t due to injuries he might have sustained during the protest. Thanks to a medical examiner’s report, it shows that two strokes ultimately led to the death of Sicknick. The report was made available three months after the riots, yet the Democrats still hold to the fact that rioters killed him.

Even the New York Times tried to support the Democrat’s narrative by writing an article suggesting Sicknick was killed by blunt force trauma to the head using a fire extinguisher. The statement was later retracted when several outlets started reporting the truth about what actually happened to Officer Sicknick.

As for Hillary Clinton, Twitter users were quick to point out the truth about what happened on January 6th. Matt Couch tweeted, “This is an absolute false statement and a lie, the New York Times Retracted that statement. The only one who was killed was Ashli Babbit a 34-Year-Old 14 Year Air Force Veteran… Unbelievable the lies of the left…”
