Just a few days ago, AOC tried her best to score some sympathy points by tweeting a heartfelt message about the living conditions her grandmother has been living in since a hurricane in 2017. Like a true Democrat, AOC opted to not help her ailing grandmother and instead, blamed Trump for the problem. There is just one little issue, people were quick to point out not only how much AOC makes a year but the fact that she recently bought a brand new Tesla. As for her “abuela”, the Daily Wire’s own Matt Walsh started a GoFundMe to help her and the result proves how backward the Democrats are. 

Rather than take action, AOC was more than fine with blaming others, yet in less than 10 hours Walsh was able to raise over $100,000 for her grandmother. Amazed, Walsh proved that instead of tweeting about her problem, AOC could have just handled the situation herself. And although she called for action, it appears that someone in AOC’s family declined to accept the money.

Shocked, Walsh tweeted, “UPDATE: ‘someone’ in AOC’s Abuela’s family told GoFundMe that she won’t take the money, even though AOC previously claimed that her grandma was in dire straits (and it was Trump’s fault). @AOC still hasn’t acknowledged this effort or thanked us.”

Although over 5,800 people helped raise the money for AOC’s grandmother, apparently the Representative hasn’t expressed any thanks for the support. Walsh was sure to fix that problem for her as well, tweeting, “Tragically this charitable effort has been sabotaged by forces outside of our control. Still I’m grateful for the outpouring of support for abuela, even if AOC isn’t. But questions remain: Why didn’t AOC help her own abuela? Why was our help turned down? We are left to speculate. In the end, our campaign raised 100 thousand dollars and could have solved a problem in ten hours that AOC couldn’t solve in four years. We can all be proud of that. As for abuela, all we can do now is pray.”

So, instead of taking the money that would have transformed her grandmother’s horrible living conditions, AOC appears more than fine letting her “Abuela” suffer. But then again, how is AOC supposed to gain sympathy votes if her whole family is doing great?
