Cities Around America Reinstate Mask Mandate Thanks To CDC Guidelines

Just when America was finally taking a turn for the better as people were able to get back to work and shed those pointless masks – they’re back! That’s right, thanks to the Democrats and their complete fear of the COVID-19 virus, it appears the mandate that forced millions of people and children to wear masks that are proven not to work, is once again – back. For now, it is nothing more than a recommendation, but as the past year has taught us, this is just the beginning. And if you happen to be fully vaccinated for the coronavirus, it still doesn’t help.

This week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released their new guidelines to help stop the supposed surge of the new, highly dangerous, Delta variant. The CDC not only advised nonvaccinated people to wear masks and social distance, but it also advised people who were also fully vaccinated to mask up. Just a few months ago, the White House used the mask mandate to help get people vaccinated, claiming they could shed the mask if they got the shot, but thanks to breakthrough cases, not even the vaccinated are safe.

But it isn’t just adults as the CDC suggested all children in K-12 schools wear masks to help keep other students safe. Sadly, that isn’t all the guidelines suggested as they also advised children to wear their masks while inside their own homes.

And although common sense should prevail, Democrat leadership across the country is already putting mask mandates into effect. Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms reinstated the order, “requiring all persons in a public place, including private businesses and establishments, to wear a mask or a cloth face covering over their nose and mouth when indoors.”

Starting this Saturday, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser is requiring all residents, vaccinated or not, to wear a mask while in public places. This also includes children over the age of 2. The mayor claimed, “We will continue to do what is necessary to keep D.C. safe.”

As for other places like New Jersey, Governor Phil Murphy is strongly advising residents to wear masks and social distance. While not imposing a mandate yet, the governor did say “We reserve the right to take more drastic action, including a statewide mask mandate.” Murphy added that it all depends on if the number of COVID-19 cases increases.

So while you might have pitched that mask and started to get used to the crisp air, it seems that battle of the masks is just getting underway.
