To continue the federal power grab, Biden announced new mask edicts on Thursday. Republicans were quick to fight back for America.

FNC: “President Biden announced Thursday that he will require all federal workers to be vaccinated against the coronavirus or submit to frequent testing. Biden laid out a plan incentivizing Americans to take the vaccine, including paid time off to get vaccinated and $100 payments to Americans who get vaccinated, paid for by government. The president also said that federal workers will be forced to take the vaccine or be required to be tested regularly.”

“It’s time to impose requirements on key groups to make sure they are vaccinated,” Biden said. “Every federal government employee will be asked to attest to their vaccination status. Anyone who does not attest will be required to mask no matter where they work and test 1-2 times a week, socially distance, and will generally not be allowed to travel for work. From the moment I was elected I said I’d always give it to you straight from the shoulder, we need straight talk right now.”

Reaction to that, and to Nancy Pelosi’s new mask mandates for Congress, drew Republican fire. Republican freshman standout Nancy Mace of South Carolina, had this to say about Pelosi.  “Pelosi’s power grabs know no bounds — flying in the face of not just science, but individual liberties, too. I ran for office because Congress needed a new Nancy and I’m reminded of just how badly that is true everyday in Washington!”

Lauren Boebart, Republican of Colorado, said of Biden’s move, “If we cave on our freedoms in the halls of Congress, what hope do the people have across America?” Senator Marsha Blackburn, Republican of Tennessee, “The Democrats are back at it again – whatever it takes to put you back into lockdown. Now we hear that Speaker Pelosi is going to have people arrested if they do not wear a mask. I don’t know about you, I’ve not heard one valid reason that a person who has been vaccinated should be forced to wear a mask.”

Democrat mayors are following Biden. Republican candidate Vernon Jones said this about Atlanta. “Keisha Lance Bottoms will let thugs burn down Atlanta, gun each other down in the street, and refuse to do a damn thing,” he Tweeted Wednesday. “But when the CDC says jump, she says how high and rushes to impose a mask mandate. NO.”
