Recently, the Democrats have suggested the GOP is behind defunding police around America. While outrageous, it does make one wonder just why would the Democrats claim something so radical? Any American watching the news knows the left has supported Black Lives Matter and their continuous war to get rid of law enforcement. But what many might not know is the Democrats are in dire need of voters. Thanks to President Joe Biden and his lackluster leadership, voters are looking elsewhere like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. And don’t take my word for it as a recent poll showed 77 percent want more police officers, spelling doom for the Democrats.

Released Thursday, the USA Today/Ipsos poll revealed, “In the survey, 7 in 10 supported increasing police department budgets; 77% said they would like additional police officers deployed on street patrols. And 62% also said some of the police budgets should be used to fund community policing.” That isn’t all as 70 percent actually wanted to increase the police budgets in major cities, like – Los Angeles, New York City, Washington, D.C., Minneapolis, and Seattle.

The recent poll shouldn’t be all that shocking due to the surge in violence across America. In Atlanta, crime has spiked 58 percent. In Democrat Portland, it is even worse as crime has climbed 533 percent. Other places like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, again – all Democrat strongholds, have seen similar spikes.

With that knowledge in mind, it is perfectly understandable why the Democrats would try blaming the GOP for their blunder. The left backed defunding police and believed that a utopia would come from it, but instead – the polls prove that criminals find the Democrat White House to be nothing more than a playground for their lawlessness. Although considered to be progressive, the Democrats have managed to hurl democracy back to the wild west.

Are you embarrassed to have Joe Biden as America's "President"?

And as for those comical claims about defunding police being a GOP agenda, the Washington Post debunked that narrative, saying “Although Republicans all opposed Biden’s coronavirus relief package, no one voted to cut, or defund, anything.”
