Although political protests have sprung up all over the country since former President Donald Trump was elected, it appears the only riot the Democrats want to investigate is the one that pertains to them. While what happened during the Capitol Hill riot was unnecessary and highly out of line, the left continues to harp on the dangers of that day. But what is more shocking is how the Democrats completely forget about movements like Black Lives Matter and Antifa. Both groups have caused countless riots across the country. Not to mention the looting and murder that followed. But again, this appears to only matter to voters as a new poll suggests more Americans want BLM investigated than the events on January 6th.
The recent findings published by Rasmussen Reports show as staggering “66% of Likely U.S. Voters think Congress should investigate last year’s violent protests, in which more than 2,000 police officers suffered injuries in the line of duty.”
The poll also found that only 21%, that is 1 in 5 voters, believe the government shouldn’t investigate the BLM riots, with another 13% saying they weren’t entirely sure.
“The number of voters who want Congress to investigate last year’s violent protests is higher than the 49% who say they support House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s select committee investigation of the January 6 Capitol riot. Forty-two percent (42%) say they don’t support the January 6 investigation.”
Thanks to the results of the survey, the public is now aware that the only people interested in the Capitol Hill riot are the ones trying to capitalize on the moment. With President Biden barely able to complete even the smallest of tasks, the Democrats are grasping at straws, hoping to secure the White House again in 2024.
And if you were thinking the poll itself could be swayed by only asking white conservatives, Rasmussen added, “Sixty-seven percent (67%) of whites, 64% of black voters, 66% of Hispanics and 62% of other minorities think Congress should investigate the 2020 riots in U.S. cities. Seventy-five percent (75%) of Republicans, 60% of Democrats and 63% of voters not affiliated with either major party say Congress should investigate last year’s violent protests.”
But even with the majority of voters calling for investigations into the riots that burned across the country, know that your tax dollars are being well spent feeding the delusions of the Democratic party.
