Taliban Crush Demonstration For Equal Rights For Women

Taliban spokesterrorists have been making big promises when it comes to basic rights for females. This, of course given the nature of their ideology, would be quite a turn around for them. However, given their actions as opposed to their words, it seems they have remained true to their traditional course and will treat women like livestock, only worse.

FNC: “Taliban special forces in camouflage fired their weapons into the air Saturday, bringing an abrupt and frightening end to the latest protest march in the capital by Afghan women demanding equal rights from the new rulers.

As the demonstrators reached the presidential palace, a dozen Taliban special forces ran into the crowd, firing in the air and sending demonstrators fleeing. Kabiri, who spoke to The Associated Press, said they also fired tear gas. The Taliban have promised an inclusive government and a more moderate form of Islamic rule than when they last ruled the country from 1996 to 2001. But many Afghans, especially women, are deeply skeptical and fear a rollback of rights gained over the last two decades.”

“We are here to gain human rights in Afghanistan,” said 20-year-old protester Maryam Naiby. “I love my country. I will always be here.” She also asked for a unicorn and a Miami Dolphins Super Bowl victory.

Farhat Popalzai, a 24-year-old university student, said “I am the voice of the women who are unable to speak. They think this is a man’s country but it is not, it is a woman’s country too.” Correction, it was a women’s country too.

In proof of their open-minded attitude, the Taliban have been ranging far and wide in Afghanistan tearing down murals and billboards extolling healthcare and women’s rights.  A Taliban cultural mullah, Ahmadullah Muttaqi, said that the murals were trashed “because they are against our values. They were spoiling the minds of the mujahedeen and instead we wrote slogans that will be useful to everyone.” Minds of the muj? Isn’t that a contradiction in terms?

The consequences of the Biden Bugout will be severe for all who remain in Afghanistan. Females may be hit the hardest. Another fine legacy of the Biden administration.
