Following the Ida storm damage that left certain places of New Jersey completely flooded, President Joe Biden decided to visit the area to not only lend his support but to promise the people that he would help them rebuild. While both Biden and the Democrats were hoping for some positive press and heartfelt messages, it appears the citizens of New Jersey, while hurting themselves, are holding Biden accountable for leaving Americans behind in Afghanistan as they called for him to resign.

Although the war in Afghanistan has been waging for over 20 years, it came to a head when President Biden announced he would be pulling out troops. He also made a promise that no American would be left behind. Biden swore to get every American and their U.S. Allies out of the country before the Taliban regained control. Just in the last few days there have been reports of the Taliban literally hunting down Americans left behind.

On Tuesday, while Biden surveyed the damage, one man appeared to yell at him from down the road. Again, this man and thousands of others have witnessed their own trauma, but he doesn’t focus on that. Instead, the man scolds Biden for leaving helpless Americans behind Taliban lines.

Another video that was taken shows a separate person also yelling at President Biden, calling for him to resign. A reporter for The Star-Ledger, Matt Arco, tweeted that the person yelling didn’t stop there. He also said, “Biden go home,” “you should resign,” “f***ing tyrant,” and “this country is going to s**t.”

It should also be noted that Biden’s trip to New Jersey comes on the heels of another bombshell that his administration was blocking flights from leaving Afghanistan. The report reads, “Rick Clay, who runs the private rescue group PlanB, told Fox News that the State Department is the only thing preventing the flights he’s organizing from leaving Afghanistan. Two other American individuals separately involved in evacuation efforts, whom Fox News is not naming to avoid jeopardizing ongoing rescue efforts, similarly said that the State Department is the sole entity preventing their charter flights from leaving Afghanistan.”
