WALTON COUNTY, FL – A man in Florida who is already facing local scrutiny – and fines, at that – for showcasing a large banner outside of his home that reads “Trump Won” is planning to up the ante in his civilly disobedient antics: by dropping another banner that will read “Let’s Go Brandon.”

Marvin Peavy managed to rub some locals the wrong way, apparently, with a rather large banner suspended outside of his Walton County home that reads “Trump Won.” The large banner, which Peavy told the Northwest Florida Daily News that he hung to agitate “seaside liberals,” managed to attract the ire of county officials.

According to the county’s codes pertaining to political signage, all signs must be removed within 15 days after the end of a political campaign. Furthermore, Peavy’s sign allegedly conflicts with county code that says residents within the 30A corridor – known as a scenic beachside route – cannot display “streamers, feather flags, pennants, ribbons, spinners, and other similar devices.”

Apparently, the code relating to the 30A corridor is to avoid distracting from a beachside route’s scenic values. As a result, the county has threatened Peavy with a daily fine of $50 that would start accumulating come October 25th.

Peavy says that he’s prepared to shell out the cash for the fines – of course, while also mentioning that he’ll gladly take the county to court for an attempt to violate his First Amendment rights.

But that’s not all that Peavy has in store with regard to his signage shenanigans, as the backlash appears to have inspired him to take another jab at both the current president and the county – by gearing up to drop a second banner that reads, “Let’s Go Brandon.”

As many are already well aware of the topical meaning behind the phrase “Let’s Go Brandon,” the expression has served as a de facto means of uttering a less profane way of saying “F*ck Joe Biden” ever since the October 2nd Nascar race where driver Brandon Brown won his first Xfinity Series, and the crowd could be heard chanting “F*ck Joe Biden” and NBC sports reporter Kelli Stavast tried saying they were chanting “Let’s Go Brandon.”
