While countless school boards around America discuss and debate the issues surrounding Critical Race Theory, California Governor Gavin Newsom decided to not talk about it and just make it mandatory for all high schoolers to pass a course in CRT before they could graduate.
CRT has become the main focal point in many districts as the curriculum teaches that America is inherently racist.
But even though school boards have even called on the White House for assistance dealing with parents, Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Virginia, Terry McAuliffe, doesn’t see CRT as an issue because, according to him – it is not only made up but a product of the Trump administration.
In the interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, McAuliffe took a different approach when dealing with Republicans who might vote against him due to the liberal push for CRT. He snapped back, ”Let’s just be clear.
We don’t teach critical race theory. “This is made-up. This is a Trump/Betsy DeVos/Glenn Youngkin plan to divide people. It really bothers me. I try to unite people. I want to give every child, regardless of who you love, the color of your skin, a world-class education system… and I’m going to build the greatest election system, but Glenn Youngkin dividing the system, dog whistles, creating racists, it is horrible what is being done, but he will take money from public schools and put them in private, and 43,000 teachers will be cut.”
