Today, a startling scene unfolded in Brookshire, Texas, as a charter plane carrying 21 people crashed when it rolled through a fence and caught fire.
The event all happened within seconds as the MD-87 was attempting to depart the Houston Executive Airport in Houston.
According to the FAA, there were 21 people on board when the crash occurred. While the video below is crazy to watch as the flames soar high into the air, officials admitted that all passengers were able to survive the crash with minor injuries.
Making a statement on Facebook, the sheriff’s office said, “All passengers and crew were safely removed with one minor injury.” The crash apparently happened just a little after 10:00 am this morning. While all passengers were able to walk away with minor back injuries, an investigation into why the crash occurred is still underway.
