Much like his presidency, Joe Biden spent Tuesday morning on the fake White House set at the Eisenhower Office Building, signing numerous pieces of legislation.

While he was meant just to sign as his handlers had hoped for, President Biden decided to take a little time and speak with the people around him.

If the last 11 months have taught the White House and the technician behind Biden’s mic anything, don’t let the President spiral off on a tangent. Although that might be the plan, it is almost impossible to do when Biden is standing in front of dozens of people. And as you might have guessed, Biden didn’t disappoint. 

The bills that were meant to be signed by President Biden included the Protecting Moms Who Served Act of 2021, Hire Veteran Health Heroes Act of 2021, and one requiring the GAO to Report data on the Disparities of Race and Ethnicity in VA Benefits. There were also several others, but as mentioned above, President Biden got a little sidetracked during the process. First, President Biden tried to read the names of some of the bills, but that lasted all of five seconds as he couldn’t get the words right.

And falling into his usual demeanor, the video, which can be watched above, shows President Biden completely forgetting about the bills as he talks to an 11-year-old audience member off-camera. They both appear to be having a civil conversation, but as if knowing Biden’s history of false claims and outlandish remarks, the technician behind Biden’s mic cuts him off as he is speaking.

Not noticing, President Biden continues to speak with the child as out of nowhere the instrumental version of “God Bless America” starts to play, drowning out anything else Biden might have mentioned. 

As if that wasn’t embarrassing enough, he also made this stunning admission…
