There is justice of a sort in the universe, as both Cuomo brothers have been kicked off their perches. For now anyway. Fredo lost his gig at CNN Tuesday night, as the pressure just became too much for CNN to handle. In a rare moment of good judgment they made the right decision and dropped Cuomo like a live grenade.

“The New York Attorney General’s office released transcripts and exhibits Monday that shed new light on Chris Cuomo’s involvement in his brother’s defense,” CNN began its statement Tuesday evening. “The documents, which we were not privy to before their public release, raise serious questions. When Chris admitted to us he had offered advice to his brother’s staff, he broke our rules and we acknowledged that publicly. But we also appreciated the unique position he was in and understood his need to put family first and job second.”
“However,” CNN continued, “these documents point to a greater level of involvement in his brother’s efforts than we previously knew. As a result, we have suspended Chris indefinitely, pending further evaluation.”
The move came after a demand that the liberal shill network fire Chris Cuomo. It was made by Charlotte Bennett, a former Andrew Cuomo aide, who is one of almost a dozen women to accuse Fredo of sexual harassment. “Anything short of firing Chris Cuomo reflects a network lacking morals and a backbone,” wrote Bennett in a tweet, his “behavior is reprehensible, unprofessional and inexcusable…Does CNN stand by journalistic integrity, or will it simply excuse his actions because Chris Cuomo drives ratings?” Well, they called her bluff.
