Donald Trump wanted a foreign leader to put that leader’s interests below personal thralldom to Donald Trump. No sane international leader would do that. But Trump’s ego is so vast he expected it. Dear gawd, Trump is unhinged.

It is so odd. A man like Trump, who ran an excellent administration, has become so addled by his election loss he is now showing the grip on reality of Muammar Gaddafi.

FNC: “Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded Friday to former President Trump’s accusation that he showed disloyalty by congratulating President Biden on his election win last year, saying he did so in the best interest of his country.”

“It was important for me to congratulate the incoming president…I highly appreciate President Trump’s big contribution to Israel and its security. I also appreciate the importance of the strong alliance between Israel and the U.S,” Axios reported.

Trump in the interview with journalist Barak Ravid reportedly said, “Nobody did more for Bibi,” referring to Netanyahu’s nickname. “And I liked Bibi. I still like Bibi. But I also like loyalty. The first person to congratulate Biden was Bibi. And not only did he congratulate him, he did it on tape…”I haven’t spoken to him since,” Trump said, according to comments from an interview taken by the Israeli journalist. “F–k him,” Trump added.”

“They didn’t have a friendship, because if they did, they wouldn’t have done the Iran deal,” Trump said. “And guess what, now they’re going to do it again. And if they do it again, Israel is in very grave danger…I’ll tell you what – had I not come along, I think Israel was going to be destroyed. OK, you want to know the truth? I think Israel would have been destroyed maybe by now,” Trump added.

What was Netanyahu’s horrible crime? Putting his country’s interests over the ego of one thin-skinned election loser. More importantly, it was a standard normal communication between a head of state and an incoming head of state.

But Trump couldn’t handle that. He expected the same blind obedience he gets from his American devotees. But Bibi Netanyahu is made of sterner stuff.
