Although the President won’t talk about it, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was blindsided during her recent press conference when a reporter for the “Today News Africa” wouldn’t let her dodge the question about travel bans.

Psaki called on the reporter beside Ateba and several others, but Ateba never got a chance to speak. Given the travel bans on South Africa, Psaki not calling on him could have been a calculated move as President Biden has come under fire recently for his decision, with some saying it was rash.
