Although President Joe Biden and the Democrats promoted the “Build Back Better” plan that was meant to propel America into the future, it appears that the agenda’s chances of success are fading as a single Democrat has opposed the act that would cost trillions of dollars. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) announced that he would vote against the act, ultimately burying its chances of passing. And knowing that the end is near, Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) decided to go on MSNBC and fire off a profane laced tirade at her fellow Democrat.

Speaking about the Build Back Better act, Manchin told Fox News, “And you know, my concerns I had, and I still have these concerns and where I’m at right now, the inflation that I was concerned about, it’s not transitory, it’s real, it’s harming every West Virginian. It’s making it almost difficult for them to continue, to go to their jobs, the cost of gasoline, the cost of groceries, the cost of utility bills — all of these things are hitting in every aspect of their life. And you start looking at — then you have the debt that we’re carrying, $29 trillion, you have also the geopolitical unrest that we have. You have the COVID — the COVID variant, and that is wreaking havoc again, people are concerned. I’ve been with my family, I know everyone is concerned.”

Sen. Manchin would add, “And I cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation. I just can’t. I’ve tried everything humanly possible. I can’t get there. This is a no on this legislation. I have tried everything I know to do. And the president has worked diligently. He’s been wonderful to work with. He knows I’ve had concerns and the problems I’ve had and, you know, the thing that we should all be directing our attention towards, the variant, a COVID that we have coming back at us in so many different aspects in different ways, it’s affecting our lives again.”

Enraged by his comments, Omar responded, “I mean, we all knew that Senator Manchin couldn’t be trusted. The excuses that he just made, I think, are complete bulls***. It is really disheartening to hear him say that he has been trying to get there for the people of West Virginia because that’s a complete lie. The people of West Virginia would greatly benefit from their families having access to long-term elderly care and care for folks with disabilities.” She continued, “They would benefit from the expansion of the child tax credits; they will benefit from having access to pre-k. There are just so many things that, you know, the people of West Virginia desperately need. And we know that he is not working on behalf of their interests, and I really am just completely disappointed and disgusted by his reasoning.”
