The disastrous presidency of Joe Biden has taken yet another hit, as it’s just been revealed that his disapproval rating hit a new high in December.

A CNBC/Change Research found that a whopping 56% of voters say that they disapprove of the job that Biden is doing, which is the worst rating he’s gotten so far in office. His previous worse disapproval ratings were 54% in September, and 49% in April.

Biden’s approval rating currently sits at a measly 44%, which is lower than his 46% rating in September and 51% rating in April.

The economy was the top priority with the vast majority of groups of voters, with only black voters putting it second behind racism. A total of 60% of voters said that they disapprove of the way that Biden has handled the economy, with 72% disapproving of his handling of the price of everyday goods and 66% disapprove of his efforts to help their wallets.

As for how Biden has handled the COVID-19 pandemic, 50% of voters said he has gone too far, while 24% say he has not done enough. Just 26% think that Biden has actually done a good job when it comes to taking on COVID-19.

Vice President Kamala Harris was also hit hard by a USA Today/Suffolk University poll that showed that her approval rating is currently at 32%. While this is a four point increase from her lowest approval rating of 28%, it’s a pathetic number that is certainly nothing to celebrate.

Newsweek reported that Biden kicked off 2022 by being 4.8 percentage points behind Donald Trump in a hypothetical poll of a 2024 race between the two of them. Trump has yet to confirm that he will be running again, but he has hinted that he plans to do so multiple times since Biden took office. This poll will certainly come as good news to the former president, and will encourage him that running again may be a good idea.

Biden said last month that despite his abysmal approval rating, he still plans to run again in 2024, assuming he is healthy enough to do so.

“If I’m in the health I’m in now, if I’m in good health, then, in fact, I would run again,” Biden said. “Why would I not run against Donald Trump if he were the nominee? That would increase the prospect of running.”

Given his latest poll numbers across the board, however, Biden may want to rethink that one.
