As horrific details were still unfolding surrounding the heinous mass shooting at the Robb Elementary School in Texas, Vice President Kamala Harris was speaking at the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies. Much like the speech that would be given by President Joe Biden that night, Harris focused more on the political agenda promoted by the Democrats than the victims and their families.

With Americans shocked and parents holding their children a little longer this morning, the Vice President stated, “Enough is enough. As a nation, we have to have the courage to take action. And understand the nexus between what makes for reasonable and sensible public policy to ensure something like this never happens again.”

On top of the statements given by both Harris and President Biden, California Governor Gavin Newson also called for more gun control nationwide. Following the Democratic agenda that has being pushed for decades when it come to guns in America, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer added, “Every time there is an incident like this you hear about efforts to deal with mentally unstable people who can certainly go out there and buy a weapon of mass destruction, go out there and buy a gun or rifle or some sort of assault-type weapon and go to there and eventually start killing wonderful, wonderful, people.”

Releasing his own statement, Texas Governor Greg Abbott said, “He shot and killed, horrifically, incomprehensibly, 14 students and killed a teacher. Mr. Ramos, the shooter, he, himself, is deceased and it is believed that responding officers killed him.” He continued, “Bottom line is this, however, and that is when parents drop their kids off at school, they have every expectation to know that they’re gonna be able to pick their child up when that school day ends, and there are families who are in mourning right now and the state of Texas is in mourning with them for the reality that these parents are not gonna be able to pick up their children.”

According to the latest reports, the shooter, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, killed 19 children and 2 teachers before being killed himself.
