Washington Post Losing Their Leftist Minds Over Musk Twitter Takeover

The Washington Post’s coverage of the Musk takeover of Twitter is reminiscent of the old joke on how the New York Times would cover apocalyptic planetary news, “Mars To Ram Into Earth Tomorrow Night, Women and Children Hurt Most.”

Far fetched? The Post has actually reported as fact that Musk wants to recreate apartheid on Martian colonies. Yep, they are totally out to lunch and their campaign against Musk just showcases the raging editorial disabilities.

FNC: “The Washington Post continued its crusade against Tesla CEO Elon Musk after claiming ‘women and people of color could suffer the most’ after his purchase of Twitter.

On Friday, the publication promoted an article questioning Musk’s policy for content moderation after finalizing his $44 billion deal to buy the social media company. The paper later shared the article on Saturday through its Twitter account. The Washington Post has been a frequent critic of Musk’s purchase of Twitter since the billionaire’s initial 9.2% purchase of stock in the company in early April. As Musk’s takeover of the social media company grew more and more imminent, Washington Post reporters and contributors became more critical of Musk and his policy on free speech.”

“With Elon Musk’s looming takeover, the future of Twitter’s content moderation is uncertain. Experts say women and people of color could suffer the most,” the Washington Post tweeted.

“Anyone who thinks the problem with social media is too much content moderation, rather than too little, should not own one of the most powerful platforms online,” WaPo writer Boot wrote sniffed, coming out of the fascist closet.

The son of the 45th president has a different take on the matter.  “You see the outrage over Elon Musk getting involved in Twitter. ‘Oh my god! Imagine they could perhaps turn down someone’s volume!’ Like they haven’t been doing that to conservatives for a decade now,” Trump, Jr. said. “These people are living in a bubble. They’re not looking for a level playing field, they’re looking for an advantage.”

He continued: “They had all of social media, again, until you came up with Truth Social and then Elon Musk said, ‘Hey, how about some free speech on Twitter as well!’…. You know, the outrage and the panic! And you see it. And that’s why you see the leak about the Supreme Court,” Trump opined. “They need something and they have nothing to motivate their people.”

He went on to say that “the American people are awake to it” because they “saw what happened to the algorithms the second the Musk thing was announced. They saw the engagement they’re getting on social, and they realize they’ve been in a rigged game for very long,” Trump concluded. “They see it. And you can no longer hide it.” Conservatives were also having nothing of it. Grabien founder Tom Elliott wrote “This trick has lost its punch.”
