Don Lemon Attempts To Push Reoperations Narrative, It Doesn’t Go Well For Him As Guest Reveals Truth [VIDEO]

The topic of racism spreading throughout America continues to gain coverage thanks to the Democrats and even the Biden administration. It wasn’t that long ago, Joe Biden warned voters about MAGA extremists and the MAGA Republicans. Recently, Don Lemon, who is now hosting a morning show for CNN as they reframe their programming, questioned British royal commentator Hilary Fordwich about racism and how those who existed under slavery wanted to be paid for their pain. While not afraid to ask the question, Lemon wasn’t exactly expecting the answer he got.

In the video below, Hilary Fordwich detailed how she believed that reparations should be in order and those who participated in slavery be held accountable. But at the same time, she believed going to the source, where slavery started, was crucial. “What they need to do is that you always need to go back to the beginning of the supply chain. Where was the beginning of the supply chain? That was in Africa and when across the entire world when slavery was taking place. Which was the first nation in the world that abolished slavery? The first nation in the world to abolish it, it was started by William Wilberforce, was the British. In Great Britain, they abolished slavery. Two thousand naval men died on the high seas trying to stop slavery.”

With Don Lemon unable able to speak, still processing Hillary Fordwich’s bold, accurate stance, the commentator added why exactly those men died trying to end slavery. “Because the African kings were rounding up their own people, they had them in cages waiting on the beaches, and I think you are totally right. If reparations need to be paid, we need to go right back to the beginning of that supply chain and say who was rounding up their own people and having them handcuffed in cages. Absolutely, that’s where they should start. And maybe, I don’t know, the descendants of those families where they died on the high seas trying to stop the slavery, those families should receive something too at the same time.”

Not exploring the subject more, Don Lemon quickly moved on, but it should come as no surprise given the host’s statements in the past. He once compared the supporters of Donald Trump to the KKK and Nazis [1]. “If you are on that side, you need to think about the side you’re on,” Lemon said. “I am never on the side of the Klan. Principled people, conservative or liberal, never on the Klan side. Principled people, conservative or liberal, never on the Nazi side. Principled people who are conservative or liberal, never on the side that treats their fellow Americans as less than, that says your fellow Americans should not exist … that sides with slavery. If you voted for Trump, you voted for the person who the Klan supported. You voted for the person who Nazis support.”
