The former President Donald Trump is speaking out this week to say that his wife Melania “felt very violated” by the FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Lago last month.

“She felt very violated. I mean, this is a terrible thing,” Trump said, according to The Hill. “They go into her closet, they go through her dresses, and who knows what else, and it wasn’t left the way it — they found it.”

“I didn’t walk into mine and say, ‘Oh, this is exactly so nice, the way they put it back,'” he added.

Trump went on to call the search a “disgrace,” adding that he did nothing wrong by keeping the documents that were seized at his Palm Beach, Florida estate after his presidency ended.

“You take a look at the Presidential Records Act,” Trump said. “That’s what you have to go by, I guess. I mean, that’s what I’m told.”

Last Sunday, Trump said that he was going back to Mar-a-Lago to “see for myself” the impact of the FBI’s raid.

“I’ll soon be heading to the scene of the unwarranted, unjust, and illegal Raid and Break-In of my home in Florida, Mar-a-Lago,” Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform. “I’ll be able to see for myself the results of the unnecessary ransacking of rooms and other areas of the house.”

“It has already been proven that so much has been wrongfully taken, it is not a ‘pretty thing.’ So sad!” he added. “The 4th Amendment, and much more, has been totally violated, a grave invasion of privacy. I will keep the American public informed on TRUTH!”

During a rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania earlier this month, Trump described the FBI’s raid of his home as a “travesty of justice that made a mockery of America’s laws, traditions and principles.”

“The FBI and the Justice Department have become vicious monsters,” he said, according to News Nation. “They’re trying to silence me and, more importantly, they are trying to silence you. But we will not be silenced, right?”

The BBC reported that immediately after the raid, Trump said that the “unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate”.

“Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World countries,” he said. “Sadly, America has now become one of those countries, corrupt at a level not seen before.”

Melania has laid relatively low since leaving the White House, and she has pretty much stayed out of politics entirely. Last week, she rolled out a line of “American Christmas” ornaments along with the ornaments’ redeemable NFTs.

“Christmas is a wonderful time of the year, celebrated with our families and loved ones,” Melania told Fox News. “This holiday will be a season filled with hope and inspiration.”

Melania went on to say that she is “grateful” and gives “thanks to the brave individuals who keep us safe at home and overseas.” She personally designed the limited-edition “Christmas Star” ornament and NFT.

“My creative inspiration for the upcoming holiday season is hope, and naturally, the star embodies this spirit,” Melania said. “My hope is for families across the world to use the Christmas Star ornament to inspire their loved ones with positive purpose, aspirations and values as we enter the new year.”

As per usual, Melania is the epitome of class and elegance. We were lucky to have her as a First Lady, and shame on the FBI for what they did to her.
