Since the pandemic swept across the nation, the Democrats have taken a bold stance with dealing with COVID-19. They’ve bullied people who break quarantine rules as they flaunt false statistics to feed their “fear” agenda. To an outsider, the Democrats are just being cautious. On Monday, though, it seemed more important for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to visit eSalon than obey state regulations.

Questioned about her visit, Pelosi quickly cast blame on the salon and its owner. In true Democrat fashion, the House speaker double downed and asked for the salon to call and apologize to her for the inconvenience.

Pelosi told reporters, “I take responsibility for trusting the word of the neighborhood salon that I’ve been to over the years many times. And that when they said ‘We’re able to accommodate people one person at a time’ and that we can set up that time, I trusted that. As it turns out, it was a setup, so I take responsibility for falling for a setup. I think that this salon owes me an apology, for setting [me] up.”

While not only throwing blame back on an American business owner, Pelosi appeared to be hinting at a wide-spread conspiracy surrounding state regulations and her hair. But voters aren’t buying it—a group of women protested outside of Pelosi’s San Francisco home.

In footage obtained by KPIX producer Bobby Tooke, the all-female protestors dangled hair drawers from a tree while brandishing rollers in their hair. Others waved American flags while chanting about freedom and the right to “earn a living and feed their families.”

As for the owner of eSalon, Erica Kious was appalled by the House speaker’s comments and saw it as a slap in the face. Kious believes her business won’t be able to withstand the backlash and harsh regulations imposed by the Democrats. It should be noted, Kious was the person to release the footage of Pelosi in the salon to Fox News.

The city of San Francisco has been under tight control since the outbreak. Citizens are forbidden from gathering in large groups, and places like eSalon have been closed since March. The salon only recently opened for “outdoor” service only, but it seems Pelosi wasn’t going to dare sweat in the name of vanity.
