Talking about his son, who has had a history of drug use, numerous affairs, and even political business dealings, Biden said, “We have great confidence in our son. I’m not concerned about any accusations that have been made against him, it’s used to get me. I think it’s kind of foul play but — look, it is what it is,” Biden added.

Towards the end of the interview, Biden called back to Hunter Biden and said, “He’s a grown man. He’s the smartest man I know, I mean, in pure intellectual capacity, and uh, as long as he’s good, we’re good.”
