Whoever wrote Biden’s speech of Monday is clearly no fan of the democratic process. Now Joe Biden, like Ron Burgundy, will say anything put in front of him. But we didn’t expect, this early, for him to be basically channeling Joseph Goebbels. How so? Let us translate for you. FNC covered the event.

“President-elect Joe Biden said that “the integrity” of the nation’s elections remains intact in an address he gave Monday evening, immediately after electors in all 50 states and the District of Columbia cast ballots, formalizing Biden’s victory over President Trump in last month’s presidential showdown.”

Ah, so Joe likes one party rule? Given “integrity” only seems to be intact when Democrats win by cheating.

“In this battle for the soul of America, democracy prevailed,” the president-elect declared, in a speech carried live by all of the leading television broadcast networks and the three major national cable TV news networks. “We the People voted. Faith in our institutions held. The integrity of our elections remains intact.”

Funny, when an election is stolen faith in institutions would logically suffer. No? Silly me.

“In his most forceful language to date, Biden described the president’s persistent efforts to reverse the election results as an “unprecedented assault on our democracy.” But he also urged that “now it is time to turn the page. To unite. To heal.”

Now here’s the real fun part. It seems Trump assaulted democracy by running against a Democrat and then fighting a stolen election result. But that’s not the best part. You know where I’m going. We take 4 years of the biggest load of political manure in American history and now we’re supposed to roll over? Naff off, Joe. Sure, you’re gonna be the president come January. But after a 3 second honeymoon we’re going to pay you back tenfold. We’ll see how you like it.

“And speaking from his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware, he emphasized that the election “now ranks as the clearest demonstration of the true will of the American people, one of the most amazing demonstrations of civic duty we’ve ever seen in our county. It should be celebrated, not attacked.”

Civic duty? There it is. It is a civic duty to elect Democrats. Any other result is an abrogation of that duty. Yup, clear one party bilge. The president is still having nothing of it.

Biden closed with repeating his pledge from his campaign that “I will be a president for all Americans. I will work just as hard for those of you who didn’t vote for me, as I will for those who did.” And to do that, you attack the candidate of the 70 million Americans who voted against you.
