Finally, someone is starting to take charge and make some sense. The so-called relief package that Congress was parading around Washington is nothing more than a joke. They believed that Americans deserved little more than $600 for what the pandemic has done. Many families can barely put food on the table, but Congress is still getting paid, so what does it matter to them. Luckily, President Trump is a voice of the people and quickly called the bill a disgrace and shut it down.

For those not aware, people on the Hill were given just a handful of hours to read over 6000 pages of the new relief bill before it was being put to a vote. Even some of the Democrats questioned the move, but again – the media didn’t cover any news on it. As for the questioning Democrats, they wouldn’t dare go against a party that may control all of Washington is a few weeks.

But until that day comes, President Trump is still going to be the man he promised to the American people. While no one was going to say anything and many just blindly voted for it – President Trump ripped the relief bill to shreds as he addressed the American people. He said, “It really is a disgrace. For example, among the more than 5,000 pages in this bill — which nobody in Congress has read because of its length and complexity — it’s called the COVID relief bill, but it has almost nothing to do with COVID.”

The President didn’t stop there as he went on to point out that the bill included another $1 trillion in national debt when very little of it was going to help COVID victims. He recalled,”$25 million for democracy and gender programs in Afghanistan,” and “$40 million to the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., which is not even open for business.”

But the President wasn’t about to leave without a way to fix it. According to the President’s plan, he wants Congress to amend this bill and increase the ridiculously low $600 to $2,000, or $4,000 for a couple. President Trump said, “I am also asking Congress to immediately get rid of the wasteful and unnecessary items from this legislation and to send me a suitable bill or else the next administration will have to deliver a COVID relief package — and maybe that administration will be me. And we will get it done.”
