A San Diego school district has made national headlines after they held “white privilege” training where they told teachers they were not only racist – but even asked them to commit to becoming less racist in the classroom. While there haven’t been any complaints made against the teachers in San Diego, the district claims they have a majority of white teachers working with the minority class, and in today’s age being white makes you automatically a racist.

According to a leaked document coming from within the program, teachers were met with this new teaching curriculum at the start of the season. Before starting the program, teachers were informed that they would feel anger, apathy, guilt, and even close-mindedness. And why would they feel all of these things – because they are white.

This is not only an attack on the people that help raise our children, but it is a further way to divide the American people. Being white doesn’t help you get anywhere in life. That is what needs to be taught in schools instead of subjecting the teachers to training that isn’t even valid teaching. How about we teach children the basics of life and how to be an adult and not bring politics into the classroom. But since this is California – that means it is run by the Democrats, who do nothing but pander to the mob that is Black Lives Matter.

On the bright side, the training that was made available to the teachers was only voluntary, but it does show what could become mandatory in the future. One aspect of the training had teachers admit that the U.S. stole its land from the Native Americans in the past and committed heinous acts against the original settlers. They also learned about several authors who have written on the subject and claim that all white people are racist and “uphold racist ideas, structures, and policies.”

It doesn’t stop there though. To help prevent discrimination from taking place in the classroom, teachers are not allowed to factor in a child’s behavior or work turned in late into their overall grade.
