Right now, Americans all around the country are watching the stock market. Since earlier in the week, average citizens have decided to take on the establishment and cause certain stocks to skyrocket. One of those stocks was none other than GameStop. But the instant surge in stardom was short-lived as both Robinhood and TD Ameritrade halted trades on Wednesday and Thursday. Now, host Rush Limbaugh is calling out the elites and their tactics for holding average Americans down.

Talking on his show, Limbaugh said, “Folks, it’s not just political now. The elites are bent out of shape that a bunch of average, ordinary users have figured out how to make themselves billionaires. I’ve been studying it all morning and the best thing I can tell you is… whatever you think is going on in politics, Washington establishment, the Deep State, what have you, it’s the same thing in finance.”

Not mixing words, Limbaugh had a grim outlook for the country as he continued to tell his audience, “If you figure out how to make a lot of money, and if you’re like Donald Trump and you figure out how to get elected, you figure out how to beat the Deep State, they’re gonna come and they’re gonna wipe you out. They’re gonna destroy you, and that’s what’s happening with GameStop.”

But who exactly are these elites that are telling Americans what they can do with their money? Well, according to Limbaugh, it is the same elites that wanted Trump out of office. “Now, with this GameStop story, and the revelations contained in it, the elites, the same people that were hell-bent on getting rid of Donald Trump, the same people are now trying to tell you what you can or can’t do with your money.”

While both trading apps were ultimately put back online, it does show how Wall Street wants to regulate its own market. As soon as someone other than them gets ahead, the first thing they do is shut it down. It seems to only be acceptable when it is the elites making big bucks and Americans starving.
