One of the strongest narratives being pushed in the United States right now is defunding the police. Since the killing of George Floyd, riots, protests, and looting has caused a rift in the fabric of America. Everywhere, there are signs, videos, and even articles about how the police are a subbranch of white supremacy, but this simply isn’t true. A quick glance behind the movements like BLM and Antifa and it’s easy to see who is calling the shots – the media. Why is this, because before George Floyd or Breonna Taylor, there was Dennis Tuttle and Rhogena Nicholas.

The names might not sound all that familiar to you, that is because the media decided not to run their story as it didn’t fit into their narrative. Like most Americans, the loving couple of Tuttle and Rhogena were enjoying a peaceful evening when the police raided their house. During the commotion, shots were fired, and the couple was killed, but the story doesn’t end there.

The couple, who were in their 60s, were not some drug lords living out their glory days, they were a simple couple harming nobody. So why would the police target them? Sadly, it is nothing more than the wrong place at the wrong time. An investigation into the matter found that the police who were involved were part of a much larger group aiming at getting more overtime. There wasn’t a grudge or purpose behind the killing other than earning extra money.

So, why didn’t the media run it? Simple, because Dennis and Rhogena were white. Nothing more. The story didn’t fit into their constant fight with race. They like the Democrats want the world to believe America is this racist wasteland of crime, but it isn’t. There are bad cops out there seeking to do harm, but more than often – race has nothing to do with it. Don’t believe me, take a look at Daniel Shaver.

Unlike George Floyd, Shaver’s had no criminal background and was complying with police when he was gunned down in an Arizona Hotel. Again, media outlets like CNN and MSNBC didn’t run these stories, not because they weren’t hard-hitting news, but because the media isn’t worried about telling the facts anymore. It’s all about pushing a narrative of racism and distrust.
