Once again, the Democrats are outraged over comments made on Twitter that incited more violence. After the Capitol Hill riots, the Dems called for unity and calm but continued to push their agenda on the American people. Now, they are upset over comments made on Twitter that called for people to incite violence toward Governor Andrew Cuomo. The only problem, the posts are fake and were original made by Democrat Maxine Waters.

At the height of the Trump Administration, Maxine Waters decided to use her power to encourage the people to lash out at his supporters. In 2018, this is what Maxine Waters tweeted to her constituents.

“Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

Fast forward to now, and a Twitter troll decided to pull a fast one of the Democrats and see if they would act the same way if the tweet were aimed toward them. Here is the tweet that was sent out just a few days ago.

“If you see anybody from the Cuomo Administration in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

Following the tweet, several key Democrat figures weighed in on the comments, calling for Twitter to step in. The only problem, none of them knew that a Democrat had made the comments in the first place. A former senior adviser to Pete Buttigieg, Lis Smith, called the comments “over the line” given when happened at Capitol Hill.

It’s interesting that the Democrats would say the tweet is over the line, but when they found out it was one of their own – they disappeared. As for saying the comments were made before the riots, it should be noted that Maxine Waters’ statement about pushing back on the Administration came shortly after a Bernie Sanders supporter SHOT several Republicans playing baseball.
