It was over four years ago that President Trump would coin the phrase “fake news.” Since then, media giants have come under fire for spreading fake facts and news that does nothing more than draw viewers in. And while the media continued to stand by their journalists, Trump was proven right on several occasions. The news wasn’t about informing the people, it was about pushing an agenda. The latest narrative by the Democrats was hopefully to impeach President Trump a second time, but as you are about to see – it was started by nothing more than fake news.

According to the Washington Post, an anonymous source claimed that Trump was pressuring Georgia officials into “finding the fraud” while on a phone call. The source believed that Trump was trying to push the election in his favor by making up claims and votes. But as you might already know, this isn’t the case. What really happened was Trump talked to officials in Georgia to make sure that fraud wasn’t taking place, but that didn’t sound as juicy to the Democrats or their media outlets, so they decided to tweak the story and push for impeachment.

Now, we already know that the second round of impeachment was nothing more than a circus that Trump was easy to free himself of, but what about the source and Washington Post story that kicked off the whole ordeal in the first place? As you can see below, the media outlet was sure to add a retraction to the story, but could they have made it any smaller? Take a look for yourself below.

While a retraction is something Trump hasn’t received in the past, the fact that the Washington Post pushed it into a small corner shows they aren’t worried about the facts. This article leads to the impeachment of a President, and then come to find it – it’s a lie. That is front-page news, but not to the Democrats. It deserves nothing else than a side note.

Conservatives weren’t the only ones to notice the change, President Trump released a statement about the story, saying, “You will notice that establishment media errors, omissions, mistakes, and outright lies always slant one way–against me and against Republicans. This latest media travesty underscores that legacy media outlets should be regarded as political entities–not journalistic enterprises.”

Even with all the lies, slander, and impeachments, Trump remains a force to be beaten as he continues to hint at the future and a possibility of a 2024 Presidential Run.
