While President Joe Biden might have the greatest track record when it comes to press conferences, on Wednesday, he appeared almost confident when discussing the current gun laws in America. It should come as no surprise that Biden and his handler Democrats would attack gun rights when their entire agenda has been dismantling the very fabric of the United States. But still, nobody could anticipate Biden giving a fiery warning to those that wish to overturn the government under his watch, and strangely it involves nuclear weapons.

Since America was founded, citizens have had the right to own weapons to not only protect themselves and family but to fight against tyranny. Yet Biden doesn’t see tyranny as a reason to own a firearm. He said, “The Second Amendment, from the day it was passed, limited the type of people who could own a gun and what type of weapon you could own. You couldn’t buy a cannon. [Those who] say the blood of the, the blood of patriots, you know, and all this stuff about how we’re going to have to move against the government.”

Although his cannon remark came out of nowhere and is false, Biden really struck a nerve when he said, “Well, the tree of liberty is not [watered with] the blood of patriots, what’s happened is that there never been, if you want, if you think you need to have weapons to take on the government, you need F-15s and maybe some nuclear weapons. The point is that there’s always been the ability to limit, rationally limit, the type of weapon that can be owned, and who can own it.”

Hoping to show Americans he means business, Biden’s comments came off rather foolish as some believe the President was threatening his own citizens with nuclear war. Donald Trump Jr. even tweeted, “Our founders explicitly wanted an armed citizenry to keep potentially tyrannical governments in check. Instead of threatening to nuke law-abiding American citizens, maybe this doddering old fool should ask himself why crime is rising so rapidly in cities w/ the most gun control?”

And he wasn’t the only one as a writer for the Babylon Bee pointed out the dangerous narrative. “The absolute worst anti-gun argument — the one I think has only ever pushed people in the other direction — is ‘If the government decides to go full-Nazi, it’s too powerful for you to stop it.’”
